Folder Submission Guidelines
EDIT: A new folder "Sketches, Memes, WIPs" has been added, please submit pencil sketches, unfinished works, meme work to this folder. For more information, there is a description below. Thank you.

Below is the current Folder descriptions and guidelines. If you have a question, please comment to this journal.

Featured

A folder exclusively reserved for =Yaoi-World’s artworks only.

Yaoi-World’s OC Fanart

Straight-forward, this folder is for fanart of =Yaoi-World’s OC’s (This includes Yaoi-kun, Me, Clover, Slaves, etc.). This is not for your OCs, that goes in Yaoi Images (see below)

Yaoi Images: Spicy

This folder is for hot, sweaty, sexy, UNF, yummy Yaoi art. As long as it is hot, nasty BL/yaoi, then this is the folder it goes in. Truly Mature deviations go here! But only the hot mature ones, please (sweet is allowed to have mature deviations as well)! Also, images with BDSM themes and nudity go here.

Yaoi Images: Sweet

This folder is for the sweet side of Yaoi, the fluff-ridden, cute/kawaii, “awwww they are so adorable” type of pieces. If the couple is holding hands or doing something that isn't hot and sweaty, this is the folder it goes in. Cute kisses, hugs, poses also go here! Kissing is not spicy all the time, sometimes it is very sweet!

Yaoi Images: Comics

This folder is mainly for covers of comics, yaoi/bl memes, and one-shot web comics that revolve around a Yaoi/BL theme. Comic pages will be decided by admin discretion. Instead of posting multiple pages, please try to put links to these pages on the artist description of the cover and simply submit the cover for people to find your gallery with.

Note about Yaoi Image Folders: At the current moment, these folders will include most pieces that show sign of BL/yaoi (whether spicy or sweet). Fanart is accepted. What is NOT Acceptable in Yaoi Images: Single guys, girls, bases, traces, heavily referenced anime poses.

Yaoi Cosplay

A folder for all cosplays of BL/yaoi. Any BL/yaoi manga/anime cosplay photos will be accepted.

Yaoi Literature

Walls of texts go here. Stories/Prose regarding BL/yaoi will be accepted. Admins do take the time to read these, so please don’t go submitting random stories. You will not get a whipping, but will receive a punishment via medieval torture equipment. What is not acceptable in Yaoi Literature: first-person prose that is not explicit smut, stories that revolve around a female character.

Single Guys

This folder is where artworks of single males go. Any individual poses or single shots go here. Also, art that includes an appendage of a second male (hand, foot, blurred censor bar) and characters in standard poses can go here if there is no yaoi/BL aspect to them (i.e. if they lack kissing, hugging, or romantic/sexual tension in a relationship dynamic). Fan art is accepted here as well.

Previous Contests

This is a CLOSED folder for entries from previous contests like the Neko Contest and Yaoi-kun Fan Contest.

Sketches, Memes, WIPs

This folder is for not quite finished works, or works that are of basic quality (pencil sketches, etc.). Please try to throw Memes in here as well.

What is not Acceptable in any of these folders: Bases, traces, images heavily referenced from anime/manga poses, gifs/signatures/posters that use art that belongs to someone else, memes that have no yaoi/BL aspect in them, comics that do not relate to BL/yaoi.
